She loves objects with a story, a history of their own.

She has a preference for 1930s, 40s or 50s dinner services she finds in France.

She repaints old plates and reinterprets their motifs.

This is her way of giving them a second life.

Botanica, ‘histoire naturelle,’ landscapes , history and little stories are the inspiration for Annabelle’s palette.

In her studio she also makes and decorates specially commissioned dinner services, such as children’s services. She also designs wedding presents and tiling tableaux for kitchens and bathrooms.

She dreams of covering a restaurant wall with her collection of plates.

She dreams of painting a huge, panoramic landscape.

She dreams of finding an old and perfectly conserved 100-piece dinner service …

… and of recomposing her grandmother’s old Basque dinner service.
