I'm not writing this testimonial because Paul wrote one for me. In fact, I've avoided writing it, for fear I would appear to be doing it out of a sense of obligation. But I AM obligated to write Paul a testimonial. His work has inspired me again and again. Paul peers through the veils into the essence of things, and then gently, cleverly pulls the veils back into place, leaving the viewer changed and inexplicably longing. His deeply sensitive examination of his subjects has influenced the way I look at my own world and my own work. It's beginning to show up in my paintings as well as my photographic work--and that feels like a very good thing. Not just an artist, Paul is also a teacher, sharing his knowledge as generously as he shares his vision. His tutorial on texture is one of the best I've seen. It should not be missed.
