Genealogist/Taphophile since the 60's. Would like to contact other cemetery wanderers especially in the Central, N.Y. area. Syracuse/Liverpool area. I visit cemeteries at least once a week. I take 4-5 week long trips each year for the main purpose of visiting cemeteries.(Example, I walked the entire Mount Hope Cemetery in Rochester, N.Y. this year. It took 5 full days to complete and I was up to 62.2 miles to complete the cemetery. When I walk a cemetery, I walk each and every row, stone by stone) In Mt. Hope cemetery I also found "Dead Fred" his actualy human remains kicked out of his hole by a woodchuck, which I turned over to the Cemetery Caretaker. I find human bones on an average of once a year. 99% of the time I travel to the cemeteries by myself. Wouldnt mind finding someone locally to go to cemeteries with.
