Everyone has a story. I just want to help share it.

I fell in love with photography when I learned to shoot 35 mm film with a Canon AE-1. I learned to make my own prints and process my own film. The first time I dropped a print into a tray of developer and watched my photography bloom, I knew I needed to make it my life. My hands shook. with excitement and anticipation. It was only a picture of my pet cat, Skittles, but I will never forget it. It was the first time I saw magic.

I recently graduated from UNC Asheville with a degree in mass communication and minor in health and wellness. I work for UNCA athletics as a graphic designer and at The Mountain Xpress as a freelance photographer, reporter, and guest blogger.
