I started this Photostream with pictures of my collection of typewriters, but it branched out into other retro items. My most recent interest is in slides, and I have been lucky enough to find several collections in thrift stores. I prefer slides that have people in them, and usually do not include landscapes or slides that have meaning only to the original owner.

I use an attachment to my camera to copy slides and it is difficult to get them perfectly straight. I could remedy that in editing, but I want them to look like what they are - slides, not prints. I make edits in iPhoto only if the slide is excessively over- or under-esposed.

I have rediscovered and have started collecting pencils, pencil sharpeners, erasers, etc. and will take a post some photos when I get the time.
