Education: B.A. Pennsylvania State University; M.A. East Stroudsburg University; Doctoral Program at the University of Maryland - ten years; Certification in Photography and Emerging Imaging.

I am a photographer and was born in Allentown, Pennsylvania. I currently reside in the Washington D.C. metropolitan bounds of Arlington, Virginia. For fifteen years, I was the Publications Manager for a large construction law firm in McLean, Virginia, but now devote my efforts to photography. I am a multi-faceted photographer, but my favorite genre is abandoned site photography or urban exploration photography. I am the author and photographer of thirteen books about urban exploration and published by Fonthill Media, Ltd/America Through Time in association with Arcadia Publishing. My books are: (1) Abandoned New York; (2) Abandoned Maryland – Lost Legacies; (3) Abandoned Western Pennsylvania – Separation from a Proud Heritage;(4) Abandoned Catskills – Deserted Playgrounds;(5) Abandoned Southern New Jersey – A Bounty of Oddities; (6) Abandoned Northern New Jersey – Homage to Lost Dreams; (7) Abandoned West Virginia – Crumbling Vignettes; (8) Abandoned Washington, D.C. – Evanescent Chronicles; (9) Abandoned Eastern Ohio – Traces of Fading History, and arriving in 2021-2022; (10) Abandoned Eastern Pennsylvania – Remnants of History; (11)Abandoned Northern Virginia - Desolate Beauty; (12) Abandoned Southern Virginia: Reckless Surrender; and, (13) Abandoned Salton Sea, California - Dystopian Panoramas.
