Hi I’m Dan Walls, a young punk artist currently living and working in Leeds.

After studying art for 6 years and graduating from Leeds Metropolitan University I am going through a transitional period drifting between jobs and places experiencing new things and finding materials and inspiration along the way.

I often work in a mixture of materials and techniques such as film, sculpture, painting, modelling and installation.

I always work with found objects such as junk, old toys and road kill preferring to enjoy the experience of hunting for materials rather than purchasing them and also doing my bit for the planet.

I have a wide range of skills, e.g.; making my first film at 16 years old and building a 10-foot tall monster. I have a great love for the bizarre and macabre making light of awkward subjects and attempting to make them humorous through my art..

I am an active member of both the Leeds Surrealist group and the art group Broken Biscuits
