I took up photography as a hobby in Sept 2009 .Two months before my 47 th birthday i purchased my first dslr camera and it has been love at first sight.Landscapes and nature is what i enjoy the most.Just being out and about with the camera is the real buzz for me. Seeing a bird of prey or lovely sunset makes my day, If you get a photograph its a bonus,if not you can always plan a return trip.Flickr and twitter are what i use to show and promote my photography.i also have a basic web with a link below.Feel free to contact me about any of my images as i have no problem sharing locations settings etc.

Altough I am not interestd in taken photographs anymore, I found myself with boxes and and albums of hundreds of pictures that somehow I had to put order to them, or.....otherwise just burn them .Thanks to my sister Eulalia2010 and Isolda2, both actively taking wonderful pictures, I was introduced to flickr and I thought it could help me with the scanning of more or less old material: voyages, ancestors etc. At the same time I was enjoying the works of some very good photographers. Haphazardly and attracted by the surname Galway, (city where I spent 2 years as a student, in the early 60´s), I came across Pete Galway´s gallery and I felt at once that there was something special there. There are many magnificent pictures of Ireland, stunning to see but soon forgotten. Pete´s style is more subdued but lingers in your mind. There is an irishness in what he captures, his own irishness, that touches us deeply! Although he started late in the art of photography, this very art is innate in him and his gallery is a delight to see. You will enjoy the subtle beauty in the poetry of his images.
