I was born and bred in Talke Pits(stoke-on-trent) [1966], lived there for thirty odd years,now live in Kidsgrove(stoke-on-trent).I am a driver with a local bus company and have been a driver with several bus companies over the past decade or so and before that I fuelled/cleaned buses. I was also depot cleaner/labourer and shortly after leaving school I started my career in the bus sector part time sweeping out buses (which pleased me as I have always been interested in buses since I was a nipper)so I have seen many changes within the sector from National Bus Company to deregulation/privatisation to now .(By the way,I hate the phrase"bus spotter"!)
