I've always liked to take pictures and had a nice SLR camera while my children were growing up. In 2004 I got a point and shoot digital camera, which I love. Three years ago my son bought me a Canon Rebel XTi, which I am still trying to learn how to use. I do not have Photoshop, but the software on Window XP does some things well, and I've recently uploaded GIMP.

I like to think of myself as having rather eclectic interests and I take photos of a variety of things. I have a 31 year old son who does not want his photo on Flickr and I respect that, but you may see his hand from time to time in shots of our cat or dog. My daughter's best friend is now married and has two little girls. She prefers that I not list their names, so I don't. She also owns the Great Dane, Molly; and the chihuahua mix, Nibbler; that I post photos of.
