Photography is my passion, chasing the light, the sun the moon, the sea and lakes and landscapes, nature the great outdoors. I came to photography from an art (especially watercolours) plus a literary /maths background,... and so wish I had earlier!

I love the sea, could live by it forever,- so water effects and seascapes fascinate me. Also moonscapes, landscapes, the outdoors, macros,..... the place where authenticity and author/ viewer meet. The place where maths and free art sing to each other. Oh and horses, lots of horses, and blue lots of blue. I like to experiment, break rules in the art. The glass is always half full not half empty. It's not only about the beauty or emotion in an image. It's a communication, the still point or crossing point of meanings and engagement.

Flickr has brought me some amazing friends, amazing and most generous gurus, a place to learn and to share and hopefully give back something to others. From first enjoyment of the great outdoors I've grown my interest into theatre, dance, portraits, wildlife, abstract and experimental, becoming more fully rounded.
