Career law enforcement officer (Sergeant) from Central, MA department forced from the career I loved by an on-duty injury. Protected the citizenry on the graveyard shift for over a quarter century (Who needs daylight? Cops aren't afraid of the dark!). Was one of the last of the big harness bulls in my agency. At just over 6'5" and 265 lbs, I sometimes feel like the preverbial bull in the china shop (and I HATED it when one of my more miniscule co-workers forgot to move the seat back in my cruiser!).

Born a southern boy (Charlottesville, VA then onto Durham, NC), but raised in good 'ol Taxachusetts. I still occasionally meander below the Mason-Dixon line to visit relatives in Northern, VA and my immediate family in Charleston, SC.

My better half and I have two beautiful acres of orchard in Central, MA where we, our horses, dogs and other critters dwell. I dabble in photography and sketching, my wife paints and sculpts.
