In the 2000's, after some time working primitively with film photography, I abandoned any further pretensions to become a serious professional. Besides the fact that my Nikon F70 plus a 80-300mm Sigma lenses were stolen in São Paulo, and despite that I was too young to really understand what this media had to do with my ideas of personal fulfillment, to master the field by the end of the 35mm film Era demanded a much bigger economic investment than I could afford. So I graduated in journalism and became a weekend hobbyist, a sporadic photographer, until a digital camera (the Nikon D60) first landed in my hands…

More than bringing some old ambitions back, pixels allowed me to understand that if there was anything within my reach that could finally make me closer to everyone else, playing a conventional role in society, than photography would be it. Therefore, during the last 3 years I have been learning how to better represent my interpretations of the world in photographs (a journey that is still far from being accomplished).

Frequent shots taken along my itineraries through the city of Vienna, where I register its inhabitants, buildings, the Sun’s route evolutions between horizons along the year, worked as a progressive praxis that finally brought me to a moment of pursuit of some more complex stories. To identify, to blend with, to register, and to share this new narratives the best possible way is now my main goal.

Thank you very much for the visit,
