Just recently moved up from a point and shot Pentax to the bridge Panasonic FZ38, looking to impove my photography with this new beast........any help, comments, encouragement will be kindly received.

Update (January 2011) :

I really do believe my photography has gained an extra something since joining Flickr, it has motivated and compelled me to take more photos and that on its own is a good thing. The contacts I have made during my short time here have been a great source of inspiration and I cannot convey enough how friendly everyone has been........thank you.
