For me the original photo that comes from a camera is usually just a starting point. I like to make photographs not just take them. I like to turn day into night. I like to add rust and dust and scratches to my images. I like to take little things that everyone sees but no one notices and turn them into something magical. I like putting on some great music, turning on my Mac and working on my images late into the night.

What inspires my work? The first rays of morning light on Cape Cod beaches...Hoboken brownstones...gloriously overcast days...colors in motion...the magic of a perfect black and white image...the smiles of my wife and my daughter.
