Beautiful! Eerie and full of emotion. In an age of 15 and 20 meg pictures, it becomes more challenging to step back and simplify how we perceive the world around us. Lovemyshadow manages to do that in all her images. This is Art that evokes emotion in the viewer.
One of the few people I met on flickr with some integrity, always producing endearing images of her children and masterpieces of light and dark... you will be missed Sarah:)

Lovemyshadow is a fantastic photographer. So what does that mean! Having a good camera and a reasonable feeling and sense for photography? She is much more than that! I am constantly impressed by her seeing subjects from a black-and-white point of view. Lovemydshadow has the journalist’s eye for that one and only moment that creates a picture. She has also got a fantastic, intuitive feeling for composition. Lovemyshadow has got all those qualities that characterize a photo journalist. But she is a poet in the first place! Lovemyshadow is working in the spirit of the French masters, Henri Cartier Bresson, Brassai (born in Hungary), Edouard Boubat and also many American photographers, like for instance W. Eugene Smith.
Read lesswithout doubt my favourite photographer, her work is a constant source of inspiration, a true artiste who combines her supreme technical mastery of the art with such emotional impact and depth to create timeless and memorable imagery.
