Geraldine Warner, a self-confessed craftaholic, curating my website Skiff Vintage Knitting Pattners. This offspring was born out of a passion for the fashions of the 1940s and 1950s, twinned with my die-hard love of knitting.

Some of my earliest memories are of my Mum’s huge collection of vintage knitting patterns (many sadly lost over time) and she used to knit the most wonderful Vogue dresses, skirts and suits using 2ply wool and size 13 needles, introducing me to a love affair which has never faded.

Sadly her taste didn’t extend to me and I remember one particularly nasty pink crimplene dress I was forced to wear to my first school disco.
