Hi! We are a homeschooling family in SC and decided to add postcarding to aid in our geography studies this year. We began in July 2009 and we have thoroughly enjoyed it thus far. My daughter (9) asks every day if she received any postcards and squeals when she receives one that she especially likes. We love cards that add interest to our studies and for cards that are just interesting to us.

During our trading, I learned about Unesco cards. We do not trade specifically for Unesco cards. However, in browsing the list I found, we do need some of the Unesco cards to use in our studies (Eiffel Tower, Great Wall of China, Leaning Tower, Tower of London, Independence Hall/USA, Yellowstone, etc, etc). I humbly ask that you please consider trading those with us. We do have one of the Unesco sites as postcards in our collection....The Great Smoky Mountains. I have these cards marked as Unesco only to refrain people from asking just for those and not returning the favor. I cannot quickly replace those and they are in limited quanities...otherwise they would not be labeled Unesco at all.

We prefer our cards written on with a quick note about the card or a great website that we can visit. Since we are a single income family and on a budget (aren't we all!!), I apologize but we cannot afford to trade more cards than you are willing to trade in return. I also cannot afford to place them in the special envelopes that I've just learned about to mail. We do not trade enough for me to purchase those specifically for 2 - 3 traders. I do apologize. I will wrap them as carefully as I can to protect them before placing them in an envelope as I respect your wishes to collect these seriously. I will do my best to protect them for

you. Postage....with the economy at the moment, I cannot mail more than 2 cards stamped to one location in the US. For 3+ cards to the US and multiple cards internationally, I will place them in an envelope and mail to you to save on postage. I will use stamps as I know that some of you also collect those. My daughter also likes to keep the unique stamps that we receive. You are more than welcome to do the same for us as well.

If we agree to trade and some of the cards that we have requested are your own work....PLEASE let us know beforehand if we have permission to display those in our collections here on flickr. Unfortunately, we just recently had a bad experience with someone who reported us as infringing on their copyrights when we were unaware of the fact that the cards were their own work. It's sad they felt they had to report us before even contacting us 1st to resolve the issue. :(

If you have questions, please email me. I am an honest person and do my best to send you what you ask for. I only ask that you do the same.

Thank you for looking at our cards and for trading with us! We look forward to receiving more wonderful postcards!!!

Happy Trading!!! :-)
