I was born in Vancouver WA, on June 13th 1994. My parents had just immigrated from Russia to America and already had quite a big family, and because of that we have always had financial struggles and I never got to anywhere because of that. We wouldn't have to family vacation because of how expensive it was and my dad was always working so I never really spent time with him growing up, I believe he had an artistic side because I remember he had brought back some pretty cool things he had made at work (he worked as a sheet metal worker). For as long as I can remember I have lived in the same house my whole life, I know when I was born we had lived in some apartments. I never had any interesting things happen that would greatly impact my art as I grew up, I just sort of taught it to myself when I noticed that I really liked it, I started by editing photos in Photoshop just making them look really appealing and when I realized that I was kind of good at it, I decided to try taking a photography class because it was the closest thing to what I was doing. I then started by winning a few photo challenges in class and I think this may have been because of what I knew by teaching myself. From then I really looked forward to having a career in photography because I thought I was really good, but as I got older the dreams kind of died down but I still enjoy expressing myself through photography. I think that’s the only reason I ever really did it is because it’s a easy way for me to show how I feel because I have never been good at explaining or expressing myself in any other way.
