I was born with a camera :-) Well, almost... It all began when my parents gave me my first camera for my 5th birthday. Of course, back in the days, we only had film cameras and everything, and I mean, everything had to be done with your own hands. There were no photo-labs to develop your film or to print your photos. Every weekend, our bathroom would turn into my very own dark-room, with the help of my dad, of course. I would literally spend hours in the dark by myself developing and printing my own photos. This love for photography stayed with me through my entire childhood and carried on to my adult years. I switched to digital photography quite recently - I got my first D-SLR in 2009 and so far I love it! Digital photography has so much more to offer these days that I don't think I'll ever go back to film.

I've tried almost all genres and styles but most of all I love taking pictures of people. My current favorite style is so-called "street fashion" which speaks for itself. It's about regular people on the streets and what they wear every day. Sometimes I would ask them to pose but I found that the best pictures are the ones when they don't know they are being photographed...

Occasionally I do weddings and engagements and very recently I discovered studio portrait photography. I think studio fashion shots would be my next favorite thing to do after "street fashion". We'll see.

I'm currently located in Columbus, OH. That's in the mid-west in case you don't know where Ohio is :-)
