GCAP South Africa (GCAP-SA) is a self-selecting coalition of civil society organisations and individuals, working for social justice, encompassing the values of GCAP Global. GCAP-SA works towards an end to poverty, the achievement of the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) and proactive advocacy for all poor and marginalised people in South Africa. GCAP-SA works to engage people, organisations, government and business in dialogue and action to deliver the enshrined Constitutional rights to freedom from poverty and inequality and achieve the MDGs by working together as a nation and building a fair and just society for all people in Mzansi.
