Born in 1955, I was raised in Thames Valley land, went on to join the company as a conductor and later a driver. Left them in 1979, moved to Rickards Coaches, then Thamesdown Transport before joining London Buses as a schedule compiler. Thence to London Northern, London Suburban, Leaside, Kentish Bus, London Underground before taking apost as AOM with Yorkshire Terrier. Left there and set up my own consultancy, through which I have since 2009 been acting as the public transport planner for City of York Council.
