Mom to 2 beautiful girls. When I'm not spending time with them and hubby enjoying the outdoors, I love quilting/ sewing/ embroidering.

I am not a quilt snob and when I'm making something for me I like a bit of vintage or upcycling old cothing in with my modern fabrics.

I love many quilty crafty themes- each has a place in my heart and home; Suzuko Koseki seems to effortlessly capture what I love about quilting : and then there is .. Scandinavian styled items (think linen and red/ brights), whimsical (mushrooms gnomes woodland creatures- mermaids and under sea things), retro kitchen, natural things trees /leaves/ bugs and wonky things, stars, log cabins, houses. Modern colour combinations are my first choice and if it has grey or orange worked into the combo I seem to like it even more!

For my swap partners, I want to make a red work quilt but am a woman without much red in my fabric collection, so if you have a spare piece of red to help this project, that would be much appreciated!
