For subject matter, cemeteries bury all the competition in my book. I first learned how to use my Minolta SRT-101 in the quiet solitude of a cemetery and my love of these sacred grounds has grown, reaching culmination when I discovered digital photography in 2003. That first camera was a doozy...a Kodak Point and Shoot, 1.3MP. What a piece of crap. But it got me started.

This photo gallery is devoted mostly to my shots in the land of the dead. And religious and mystical icons and symbols, statues...a few churches here and there, too.

I do like to create Gothic/Romantic/Symbolist scenes from my findings in the graveyard.
