I was born in Nelson New Zealand but have lived in Christchurch most of my life apart from two years in Sydney. Been an artist all my working life, mainly as an illustrator specialising in fashion drawing, but have a talent for cartoon work and photorealism....have taken photos for over 50 years but only lately made the transition from record/reference to art shots. Digital opened the way with Elements for me to start playing with photos, very small steps as yet, but already it has become a passion...so many possibilities! I've found a marvellous way to spend my retirement years...however youngest daughter and the grandkids seem to avoid me...probably too many years of having a camera pointed at them...enough is enough I think!
