Mary-Anne Ganley is a professional artist and designer working mainly in the publishing and digital arts industry. Much of her "traditional" artistic work consists of coastal landscapes created in two genres, oil painting and B&W fine art photography. Originally from the Hudson River Valley in New York she moved to Boston to study art, earning a degree in fine art, painting and design and graduating magna cum laude from the Art Institute of Boston along with an education in business and marketing. Mary Anne's work reflect her training in classic painting techniques and demonstrates a refined skill in the use of color theory, contrasting values and balanced compositions based on the "Boston School" methods. Her illustrative use of light has been described by collectors as having an "intriguingly luminous quality which draws you in with a quite attraction"

Mary-Anne's artwork has been shown in numerous art shows, and is held in private collection throughout the country. The artist resides in a small coastal village midway between Boston and Cape Cod.
