My fascination with photography started as a young boy when I was playing with my father's Kodak film camera on the picnic table while camping. I accidently took a shot looking straight up through the trees. What grabbed my attention when we got the film back from processing was not the surprise that I took the picture but the different view it presented of the world around us. It showed me to slow down, look around and appreciate the greatness in nature that surrounds us whether at the simple campsite, on the sandy edge of the land we live on next to the grand expanse of the sea or on the top of the mountain peak.
