What can I say, I love this guy. Finding his Flickr page was a huge joy. I feel a kindred spirit in him, with his love of all things trivial and totally unimportant, and his role as a childhood artifact historian. Just wonderful, period. Thanks,Nemo

Well, at first Nemo's Halloween photos reeled me in, but his memories from old adverts and childhood books kept me coming back for more. I recommend his vintage and holiday-related photos, especially his wonderful supply of Halloween plastic joy. With respect to the above, I will suggest his blog. Of course I love Nemo's photos of men. His models are ever gracious and he really seems to enjoy, not only the appearance of his models, but interacting with them and knowing a little about them as well. I think the personal connection comes out in the relaxed nature of his subjects. There is nothing pretentious about these images. They are playful yet avoid becoming campy. There is a freshness to these shirtless photos that makes them stand out from the rest. There are two main flickr photographers whose photos of men hold me captive. Nemo is definitely one of them. From the landscape of childhood to that of the male figure Nemo has consistently shown an honest and interested connection with his subject. If I had to sum up the nature of his work in one word I would call it.....celebratory! ~Bill
