I am 50+ year old man from North America, living now in northern Europe.

IMPORTANT NOTE - as of May 1st, 2022

For a long while (at least since 2013) I considered eventual moving away from Flickr but finding more friendly environment for my interests and photography was not easy. I stayed to keep in touch with my Flickr friends and to maintain groups I created.

Recently announced changes of Flickr policies mean that (as of May 1st) Free accounts with Restricted or Moderate content will need to either subscribe to Flickr Pro or remove non-safe images.

Now the answer is clear. I am not going PRO, so I removed all Moderate and Restricted content I used to have. I will also observe how these changes will affect the groups I moderate (all of them are restricted, so they will have only content from PRO accounts).

UPDATE - as of May 2nd, 2022

I thought that if FREE acount will contain moderate or restricted photos after May 1st 2022 that Flickr will terminate the account - I was wrong!. I received reliable information that Flickr would only delete the images that fell outside of the restrictions for a free account. Here is copy-pasted HF post, including the relevant staff response:

"Once we confirm that your Flickr Pro membership has lapsed and that your account is not within the allowable limits, we will notify you with instructions on how to resolve any issues. You will have at least 30 days from the time of that first notification to make the needed changes. If not resolved, the content outside of the allowable limits (in the example you've described - the five images that are restricted) would be deleted."

Advice in general: copy that response and park it somewhere, just in case there is some "wiggling"... if, due to circumstances an account holder couldn't make it in time.

Following/Adding to Flickr contact

I always send a short message to those whom I add to my Friends and/or Family, explaining reasons why I added them.

If you add me (either as contact, friend or family) and I don't know you, most likely I will ignore it. If you want me to respond - please write a short note with explanation, why you follow me/add me as contact.

My Flickr profile and photostream are dedicated to my two interests: photography and naturism.

PHOTOGRAPHY

I take photos since my early teens. I used several cameras, starting with very simple b&w film. I used Fujifilm FinePix A820, Canon PowerShot A1000and recently Nikon Coolpix AW120. I may also throw some photos taken with HTC smartphones which I use for some years already. Digital photography allows me to share my photos with others, hear their opinions and learn how to improve. Most recently I started taking photo with iPad.

Photos that I take are far from perfect so after downloading them I also try to improve them by using several different graphics editing tools.

All my photos on this photostream are my own. They were properly flagged as either safe, moderate or restricted. Now I removed all the restricted and moderate content.

In April 2012 I joined the Light Painters Society group.

NATURISM

My naturist experience started in 2008 during vacation to Florida.

I didn't even realize how many misconceptions about naturism or nudism exist. In my eyes nudity does not automatically equal sex etc. At the same time I respect those who - as nudists or naturists - do not wish to be photographed nude; and also those who wish not to see photos of nude people.

I was always very happy when I was able to be without clothes. Unfortunately I was raised not as a nudist and had a period of my life when I was very very shy and self-conscious.

I found several quotes re. nudism or naturism and I keep them here as they reflect my understanding of it as well.
