I've had a career as a public school music teacher, trumpet player, and arts administrator. Alongside my music pursuits, I have been making pictures since i purchased a Kodak Brownie camera as a young child. I saved $12 from my paper route, the first of many. My first SLR was a Minolta SRT 101 from the early 70s. I began digital photography in the early 2000s. I now use a Leica Q2 and various Fujifilm equipment. My favorite photo moments are capturing life on the street, especially in big cities. I don't mind finding attractive landscapes, seascapes, architecture, and portraiture. I love to travel, and look for unique photo opportunities wherever I go.

I have had solo exhibits at the Leland City Hall Gallery and the Leland Cultural Arts Center. I have been published in Black+White Photography Magazine, Fujilove Magazine, and The Wilmington Star News, among others.
