I am from Lancashire and now live in Derby in the East Midlands, England.

What else? I love to sing with friends. I enjoy our garden and all it offers through the seasons and I am an active member of the Women's Institute.

I enjoy stitching, the night sky and social history. My favourite radio station - BBC Radio 4; favourite programmes 'The Life Scientific', 'In our Time' and 'The Media Show'.
