Georgio Sabino III: Artist's Statement

My work conveys the polyrhythmic identities striving within each of us to be heard but especially to be seen. By concentrating on texture, line, shape, and color a thorough understanding of the relationship between visual arts and fashion is conveyed. Dramatic lines combined with vibrant colors make a strong contrast that brings richness into my artwork. Through a metamorphosis of textiles and designs, volume, movement, freedom, and energy are created. A sense of completeness is achieved by attention to symmetry and balance in my illustrations, paintings, sculptures, and architectural and fashion photography. I create art that stimulates the imagination, challenges the intellect, propelling the viewer towards celestial heights where they can explore, discover, and uncover their polyrhythmic identities through my work.
