I'm a bit of a nerd... I have a career in Medical Laboratory Science. On the side, I take my hobbies to a nerdy level. For instance, I can't just keep fish. I have to grow plants for my fish to make it more natural. I can't just throw a couple plants in and hope they grow. I'm currently rehabilitating a 10 gallon aquarium to practice the Dry Start Method (Barr).

I love learning, and my current pet project is photography. I'm learning on my first dslr - canon rebel t3i. I'm not going lens crazy - but I bought a Sigma 20mm and really love it... on a rare occasion I switch it out for the kit zoom if I need to get a little closer on something. I'm also playing around with a b+w ND3.0 filter on my Sigma lens.
