I've always had a camera strapped to my wrist. My first love was a 35mm Minolta that my parents had back in 1988. I carried it with me everywhere and took so many photos it broke. Unfortunatly my parents couldn't afford to get me a new one as back in the day that was a wicked expensive luxury. My grandmother then gave me a polaroid camera which offered me instant photo gratification.
Best photography story of my life - Tackled and beaten in the Sistine Chapel when I was 17 for sneaking my camera in trying to get a photo of the Michealangelo painting. Bad ending, the took my camera and wouldn't give it back.
I love life. I love the moments that make life. I love stealing those moments away and having them on paper. Photography is my history book - it's how I choose to learn about and remember the world around me.
Recently I kickstarted my own photography business and am getting that up off the ground. My dad always told me to get paid for what I love doing. :-) So hopefully I can now.
Please look around and offer any advice, constructive and helpful criticism, tips, any other tid bits that you feel will help me grow as a photographer.
