With more than 30 years experience as a photographer, large format black & white is my choice for making images. I make more landscapes than cityscapes or abstractions. The print is the most important part of the entire process from conception at the time of exposure to the final image.

My camera of choice is a Canham 5x7 with an interchangeable 5x12 back. I am making contact prints with both formats and enlarging the 5x7 negatives on 11x14 to 20x24 paper. The actual image size of the print remains true to the negative format.
