I am a photographer who enjoys capturing that single moment in time. I believe that photography speaks a universal language that touches our hearts and souls. Photography is in essence art and poetry, captured in the eye of the camera's lens.

“To me, photography is an art of observation. It's about finding something interesting in an ordinary place... I've found it has little to do with the things you see and everything to do with the way you see them.”

~ Elliott Erwitt

I see something special and show it to the camera. The moment is held until someone sees it. Then it is theirs.

Pat has been a personal friend for many years. For as long as I have known her she has always been a great fan of nature and of the outdoors. In the past few years she has become seriously interested in and passionate about her photography. Pat has been able to transfer her love of nature and natural things into her endeavor to produce beautiful images. She has developed a distinctive talent for and strength in producing beautiful macro images of fruits, vegetables and flowers. Her images bring out the essence of her subject matter without having to resort to photographic trickery or illusions. I have been amazed watching her images constantly improve ... her photographic talent is blossoming like the images of beautiful plants and flowers she captures and posts here on Flickr.
