Candid photography has many components. One of the most interesting yet elusive qualities of candid photography is to capture a special moment, a slice of real life. When the subject of photography is aware of the photographers intention, the show is on, an act remote from reality. Candid photography aims to capture the 'real' show of life, not the thetrical show associated with awareness.

There is so much more that also contributes to the quality of candid photography, which must make it one of the most challenging photographic styles available. If I ever take a really great candid photo (as judged by myself), I will let you know, there is more to it than just capturing any moment.

Italian or Spanish, I am not, I don't even speak Italian or Spanish, I just love Mediterranean food and culture. So, I pretend, after all, it is my imaginary world...
