I began making photographs in 1982. Aside from an introductory photography course, I am largely self-taught, acquiring the bulk of my technical knowledge from the writings of Ansel Adams. His work, alongside the artistic philosophy and technical mastery of Henri Cartier-Bresson, serves as the foundational influence on my practice.
