My name is Susan Buhrman and I design and create original Art Mandalas and more in beautiful Austin, Texas.

 

My work reflects the soul's yearning for balance and symmetry, and I utilize color, texture and reflective materials to "grab" the attention of the subconscious mind while providing a pleasing and uplifting visual experience for the conscious.

 

I love polymer clay and used a variety of mixed-media materials in my work. I've even been known to make mandalas out of nylon 6-pak rings!

 

My dream is to create an "installation" of 7x7 mandalas - so if anyone knows a friendly gallery or biz that would like to display them -- let me know!
