I've been taking pictures for over 30 years now, and have been shooting burlesque performers for about 7. I love portraits, dommes, fetish, urban decay, cats, and vampires.
I started shooting with an Argus C3 rangefinder, advanced to NIkons, and switched to digital with a Fuji Finepix HS10. My current camera is a Nikon D810.
I also take stereoscopic slides with an old Stereo Realist camera, which has been a major interest for a few years now.
I also have an obsession with available light, sometimes shooting people using moonlight. Sometines it works, sometimes not, but what the hey...
And of couse, cleavage!
I'm also fond of postcards, garlic, pork, rubber stamps, and French and Geman pop. And I have a large collection of Brecht/Weil/Eisner, including Brecht sung in Italian & French.

Such a talent is very rare. Such dogged dedication to a single genre of photography on Flickr is even rarer. Every image of every entertainer is shot with love and respect. Bob's been teasing me for a few weeks with some little pictorial gems. His humour comes through what he captures in a lovely informal manner that much photography polishes away. A guy who sees life as a perfomance of fun! Excellent!!!
I love the work, I love the passion! There is alsways something interesting on the photostream. A wonderful gem-if you miss out on 3d's work, you are missing out on one of the most talented flickr artists around.
Although I've only known Bob way too short a time, I've come to truly love his photos and style of photography especially how he can capture the beauty of women in a most candid and unposed way. Bob could do this professionally and I hope more people will see and appreciate his photographs.
