I have always taken photos since childhood but have never owned expensive equipment. I use a compact camera now, it lives in my shoulder bag. I am delighted with digital as I don't have to wait for development and worry about affording processing fees! I love looking at other people's images and am amazes how I see the same names crop up when I leave a comment there will be a comment already left by one of my contacts from maybe the other side of the pond- similar tastes.
