In between being married to Shizue, playing pitch and putt on the Meadows and bowls at Braid, I'm helping out with a Melvin family production: Real History Talks. RHT consists of: (all Melvins, unless otherwise stated!) Eric, aka Dad/Uncle Eric, retired history teacher and published local historian who has written and narrated our Royal Mile audio tour; Richard, aka brother/cousin/nephew, has moved from BBC Radio Scotland to producing radio and podcasts, including the RHT tours; John, aka son/cousin, who has helped with marketing the tour and getting it in other languages; and Katie Ellis, aka sister/cousin/nephew, who is helping RHT market their Royal Mile tour.
