March 2025: I am a mature, late-in-life cd who enjoys wearing skirts, dresses and all that goes with them. If you look through my favorites, you'll get a very good idea of what appeals to me -- and what I often wish I could wear, or look like.

As one Flickr member told me shortly after I joined: "You're into 'pretty'," and she was right.

Gender fluidity describes me best: I enjoy my life as a male, but that isn't enough. I have a lot of sentiments typically viewed as feminine inside of me, and it has been wonderful to express them in large part though the fabrics and styles of femininity. I only wish I had started decades earlier.

Since I am in the closet, or "home-bound" as I prefer to call it, most of my photos are for Friends. This is NOT because they are x-rated: they aren't. It's simply because in my circumstances, it is easy to feel over exposed. So many of my public photos have a studio background that is less revealing of my home and surroundings than is the case with the others.

During my 15 years or so of posting photos, I've enjoyed the conversational aspects of Flickr, through exchanges of comments, occasional emails and by participating in a couple of discussions focused on societal reactions to, and acceptance (or not) of, transgender individuals. While I am not one, I now know several including one in my extended family.
