I picked up photography in March 2009, so this is still new to me. I shoot with a Canon Rebel XT and currently use a max focal length of 55mm. (I like to be close). Most of my shots use available light, but I sometimes add minimal supplemental lighting as the situation warrants. I keep post production editing to a minimum - usually just adding a hint of contrast with a slight s-curve.
I looove color and am attracted to vibrant images. Thus, my black and white images generally aren't true B&W but toned with sepia and cyanotype. Lately, I've been on a blue kick. I'm not really sure why.
My baby girl has become a prominent photographic subject for me...but I still love doing abstracts, minimalist, and figure studies. I really want to start on self-portraits...but I'm scared.
I welcome feedback so please feel free to comment.
