I'm interested in beauty and irony. I believe art should be uplifting, and now that I'm all grown up I don't see much value in shock. Maybe that's why I can't stand nearly all "modern art," with its emphasis on base animal desires and deconstruction of nearly everything because it's there.

I shoot one DSLR and three dry boxes full of film cameras and lenses. Digital is great, but I like the way I think with and handle film cameras better, and film is still as vivacious and alluring as ever - if not more so.
