I am a huge fan of photography. I understand the technical aspects of it, but continue to work on composition. I would like to get to a point where I am proud enough (on a frequent and consistent basis) of an exposure that it becomes a print. I continue to refine my darkroom technique as well.

I shoot film. I stumbled across film (again) as I began scrounging up money to help fund the purchase of the engagement ring I would give to my girlfriend, now wife. I sold all of my digital gear (Pentax K20d, FA 50mm F1/.4, DA 21mm f/3.2, FA 35mm 2.0, Tamron 17-50 f/2.8) and haven't looked back (I briefly owned a Nikon D200).

I primarily shoot 35mm, but am always on the look out for a good deal in medium format gear, as well as 4x5. I love studying up on film gear almost as much as I love depressing the shutter.
