Almost all pictures are from mushrooms or fungi in the more general sense with emphasis on the microscopic structures and copies of the descriptions. Descriptions and identifications in the album Herbarium Descriptions are mostly from my personal findings. Identification is done to the best of my knowledge at the moment of writing.
In the album Naturalis Descriptions you find observations from dried material temporarily obtained from the Netherlands Centre for Biodiversity Naturalis (previously the Rijksherbarium, Leiden).
In the more recent descriptions the micro photos of the spores cover an area of 66 x 44 μm. This to provide a magnification of x2000 in the printed version of the descriptions on a A4 sheet.
As collection photo's aren't always in a logical order when you browse through Flickr, use the collection number in the Flickr search field to group them together.
Use this search page for best results: www.flickr.com/search/?user_id=39538316%40N07&sort=da...
Use the search field also to group for example spores of Russula ochroleuca by entering the words: russula ochroleuca spores.
