Paul Rudderow- Jersey Shooter

I'm what I consider a born again photographer. I was really into photography back in high school and college. I played around with developing B&W film and even had a small enlarger to process my own prints. I stopped shooting when my Nikon FE kept breaking on me and I haven't done much for the last 25 years or so. I bought myself a Canon XSi for Christmas 2008 in preparation for a trip with the kids to Paris. I didn’t know how to use the camera very well in France but was lucky enough I worked in London for a couple of months with two camera enthusiast co-workers. They taught me the basics and a lot about the functions and settings on the camera. One of them (www.flickr.com/photos/philurwin/) told me about flickr and got me started here.
Most of the pictures on flickr have been taken since that Christmas in 2008. There are however some older stuff that I have scanned in from old photos or negatives.
If you have looked through my photostream you will see that I have somewhat of an eclectic taste in photography. I carry my camera around with me everywhere I go and try to use it every day. I don’t think I could every make a living out of it but I do take construction photographs for my work and I’m a contributor to the Philly Soccer Page (www.phillysoccerpage.net/).
IT GENERALLY WILL NOT BE A PROBLEM BUT PLEASE DO NOT USE MY PHOTOS WITHOUT FIRST GETTING MY PERMISSION!
Thank you!

Paul's enthusiasm for photography is great. With a superb eye for detail he's constantly trying new ideas and developing his skills, which grow day by day. The fun and enjoyment he gets from this is clearly evident in his work. It's fantastic to see someone with such imagination and boundless energy for photography. Not only that, he's a great friend and supporter, always with an interesting comment or point to make. The word prolific springs to mind whenever I check out Paul's photostream. But that doesn't mean it's quantity over quality, the exact opposite in fact, his photography keeps going from strength to strength. A constant source of encouragement and a super photographer, check out his stream and you will be sure to find some interesting and inspiring shots to see...
