I was born in 1965. I am based in Somerset, England, in a small village outside Bath.

I was educated in Plymouth, Wales and Bristol Universities in biology, and the environment. I learnt photography from dad and an extensive module in Plymouth during my applied biology days.

Most of the photos are taken with an Olympus OM2 SP,the odd one with a Nikon TW Zoom. The rest with a 4 Ti or 40 or similar, and a selection of mainly Tamron lenses, eg their 35-80, which did the caves, and the excellent 90mm macro.

I also have a few Olympus's like the 16mm fisheye, and Tokinas like the 17mm and 500. A Makinon 24-50 did most of the flowers. A Sigma 600 did the Christams decoration night shots. I also have the odd Vivitar. I do some with a borrowed Olympus Mju 400, but I find it a bit limited.

I went pro on the 17th of May 2010. Really worth while. A lot of old photos have come out of moth balls.

Ive finally gone digi now. Got a Canon Powershot sx40 HS in July 2012, which I exchanged for an sx50 in December 2012. It does a cracking job.

Now added a Keep Guard KG6800B 8mb colour or Infra Red camera trap -mainly for doing badgers and night life and a Sony Cyber-shot DSC-HX20V 'travel zoom' camera.
