I am basically a collector of old-fashioned type, with rare wood-type of special interest. A secondary interest is hobby printing which I contribute to by belonging to the Amalgamated Printers' Association. I served for ten years as the coordinator of their yearbook, Treasure Gems, as did my father before me.

I received the little training that I have had in printing from my father, who was also a hobby-printer for 68 years. I have not had professional training and have never done printing on a commercial basis. I wanted a hobby that would provide me with something to collect, during my working years, that might hold its value and provide an interest when I retired. Letterpress printing has provided all that and more. I could not have picked a better hobby, in my opinion!

Because of the limited number, of each specimen book that I printed, I decided to post them on-line for anyone interested in viewing them. They will not be re-printed. You may copy the pages for your personal use but not for commercial purposes.
